Descrição original:
(Breure, 1978): “Shell up to 17.7 mm, 4.14 times as long as wide, narrowly perforate, with straight sides, elongate, rather solid. Colour whitish with irregularly spaced axial, blackish streaks; the upper whorls usually dark. Surface moderately shining, the growth striae incrassate. Protoconch with numerous fine spiral lines and low, irregular axial riblets. Whorls 8, slightly convex; suture well impressed. Aperture elongate-ovate, skewed, about 2 times as long as wide, 0.27 times the total length. Peristome thin and simple. Columellar margin narrowly dilated above.”
