Comentários: Herm, 1970 informa que “… on Mejıllones Peninsula a terrestrial gastropod fauna indicates a marine regression phase between the later Pliocene and the marine, early Pleistocene. In restricted areas a thin sandsheet with Bulimulidae was deposited on sediments of the late Pliocene regression. On top follow the beach deposits of the Lower Pleistocene (Serena I) eustatic ingression.”
