Comentários: Breure & Ablett, 2014 considera que esta espécie “é um sinônimo júnior subjetivo de Drymaeus bivittatus (Sowerby I, 1833), cujo material-tipo não foi encontrado na coleção NHMUK”, porém Salvador et al. 2024 mantiveram como espécie válida
