CLASSE: GASTROPODA: TERRESTRE
FAMÍLIA: BULIMULIDAE
ESPÉCIE: Drymaeus pseudelatus F. Haas, 1951
Tamanho médio: 15 mm
Ocorrência: Peru
Localidade tipo: Peru, Anco, Rio Mantaro
Altitude: 2500 m
Nome original: Drymaeus (Drymaeus) pseudelatus F. Haas, 1951
Comentários: Breure et al. 2024 destaca que em Drymaeus pseudelatus, “the shape of the shell, the presence of axial riblets, and the colouration are all uncommon for Drymaeus. This taxon likely belongs to either Naesiotus Albers, 1850 or Bostryx“. Molluscabase, 2025 considera a espécie como taxon inquirendum
Descrição original:
(Hass, 1951): “Shell slender, almost turreted, subsolid, irregularly striate, a little shining, white with brown streaks, narrowly umbilicate. Whorls 9 1/2, a little convex, the apical ones deep purplish and with the typical sculpture of the genus, the following one wine-brown and almost smooth, the remaining ones creamy-white with irregularly spaced brown streaks and beset with oblique, low, rib-like striae wider than the interstices. Aperture small, little oblique, oblong; peristome simple, unexpanded and acute. Only the columellar margin is reflexed and partly conceals the narrow umbilicus, which is encircled by a narrow, chestnut band”
