Comentários: Breure & Ablett, 2014 destaca que “o espécime figurado por Reeve 1849 [1848-1850] foi encontrado e está agora designado LECTOTYPE” (NHMUK 20100519). “Este táxon até então não figurado era considerado um nomen investigandum em Breure (1979: 136) e Richardson (1995: 387). A protoconcha é esculpida com nervuras axiais, típica de Naesiotus sensu Breure 1979″
