Descrição original:

(Breure, 1977): “Shell up to 12-2 mm, 1-9 times as long as wide; (rather widely) perforate; with slightly convex sides; hardly elongate; thin. Colour brownish (in most specimens faded to whitish). Surface slightly shining, smooth. Protoconch sculptured with slightly curved axial riblets, the intervals 3-4 times as wide as the riblets. The intervals with excessively fine spiral striae. Whorls 6T, rather convex; suture well impressed. Aperture subovate, about 1-5 times as long as wide. Peristome thin and simple. Columellar margin narrowly reflexed”
