Descrição original:
(Grego & Szekeres, 2004): “The yellowish horn coloured, strongly built shell is decollated, consists of 5 1/2 to 6 2/3 whorls. The shed apical part is elongated, represents an even continuation of the decollated shell. The whorls are covered with strong, sharp ribs, in between with very fine, dense striae that run at an angle to the ribs. The ribs become irregular and branched over the neck, and their direction and density
changes abruptly below the weak basal crest.
The peristome is rounded, with a moderately wide white margin. The well-developed lamella superior runs deep, making a considerable overlap with the separate lamella spiralis. The strongly bent lower end of the lamella inferior is well visible in a perpendicular view, but the lamella subcolumellaris is only visible at an angle. The plica principalis reaches to the dorsolateral side. The upper palatal fold is strong, represents a smooth continuation of the arched lunella. This lunella is further continued in a subclaustralis that connects it with the end of the lamella subcolumellaris. Because of the strongly bent lamella inferior, the clausilium is only partially visible through the aperture.”
