Comentários: HOLOTYPE depositado The Academy of Natural Sciences, Philadelphia, ANSP 152245, recebido de H. von Ihering
Descrição original:
(Pilsbry, 1930): ” The shell is umbilicate (the umbilicus perspective, contained about 54 times in the diameter of shell); somewhat lenticular, the spire being conic, base convex, periphery angular; thin but moderately strong. Periostracum very glossy, naphthalene yellow at the base, lighter with a silky gloss on the upper surface. Whorls 64, moderately convex, the last bluntly but distinctly angular peripherally. Suture moderately impressed. Sculpture: first 21 whorls smooth, the rest with fine, close, slightly curved rib-striae about equal to their intervals.
In some places a few little transverse impressions indent the ribs and intervals; on the last whorl the rib-striae disappear at the periphery leaving the base almost smooth. Four very slightly projecting growth-rest lines divide the smooth base, showing former peristomes, which, however, were not noticeably expanded. The aperture is oblique, trapezoidal-lunate. The white peristome is narrowly expanded in the outer part, narrowly reflected basally, and somewhat dilated at the columella; its remote insertions are joined by a very thin, transparent callus.”
