Descrição original:

(Pilsbry, 1930): “The shell is smaller than Streptaxis contusus Fer. The right outline of the conic spire is about straight, the left outline somewhat convex, but the penult whorl projects on the left side much less than in contusus. The left ventral half of the base is conspicuously flattened; in front of the aperture the base is swollen. The sculpture of fine, close costulae, their summits cut by spiral lines, is well developed. The interior of the umbilicus is closely ribbed axially; base smooth. The lip is narrower than in contusus.”
