Descrição original:

(Jay, 1836): “P. testa ovato-turgida, reticulata obsoleta, rosea, ventricosa; plicis obliquis undatis; anfractibus convexis, apertura alba, columella subtortuosa; labro repando. “This is also a land shell, and very light for its size; the margin is elevated round the whole aperture except at the superior extremity. It hasa line of orange surrounding the entire margin, and the plaits on theconvexity of the whorls resemble those of the Buccinum undatum.”
