Tamanho médio: 13.5 – 17.5 mm
Ocorrência: Peru (Cajamarca)
Localidade tipo: Peru, “Dept. Cajamarca, ca. km 148.2 road Pacasmayo-Cajamarca”
Altitude: ~2500 m
Nome original: Cyclonenia hemmeni H. Nordsieck, 2005
Etimologia: o nome da espécie é uma homenagem ao seu coletor, o malacologista alemão Jens Hemmen (* – 2012)
Descrição original:
(Nordsieck, 2005): “Shell with conical apical part, rarely attenuated, whorls less rounded; greyish yellowish-brown to yellowish reddish-brown; teleoconch whorls very densely ribbed, riblets undulating, in part more narrowly spaced on the lower whorls, on the neck coarser and more undulating, below the suture patches of distinct white riblets alternating with non-white weakly sculptured ones, riblets especially on the lower whorls in part lengthwise white, mostly incompletely, thus giving rise to a zigzag pattern; neck with weak basal keel and ± weak dorsal keel, in part higher than basal keel, with subsutural
swelling; aperture detached, oval to oval-piriform, in part more triangular, yellowish-brown to yellowish reddish-brown inside;
superior lamella high, continuous with spiral lamella by a faint or without curve, mostly elongated by its side, lamellae at the connection ± lowered, spiral lamella high; inferior lamella straightly ascending, high inwards, in part moderately high, in front lowered and ± bent on the columellar edge, ± thickened and ending at the peristome; subcolumellar lamella descending to the lunellar, lower end separated from lunella, in oblique view visible far inwards; lunellar dorsal-dorsolateral in position, in part dorsal, principal plica ending dorsolaterally or laterally; upper palatal plica relatively long, continuous with lunella ± by an angle, lunella hardly arcuate, rarely posterior lower palatal plica present; clausilium plate in oblique view fully or nearly fully visible, relatively broad, distally hardly pointed at the outer end”
