Descrição original:
(Nordsieck, 2005): “Shell decollated, nearly cylindrical, whorls less rounded; whitish- to yellowish-grey; teleoconch whorls widely and regularly ribbed, ribs ± straight, in part, especially at the suture, white, ribs on the neck hardly stronger and somewhat undulating, in the intervals of the ribs regularly densely striated, on the lower whorls in part more faintly; neck with broad basal keel and ± distinct dorsal keel, in front mostly higher than basal keel, with subsutural swelling; aperture descending, roundish-oval, yellowish-grey or yellowish-white inside, with expanded peristome; superior lamella continuous with spiral lamella by a ± marked curve, lamellae at the connection ± lowered, spiral lamella low;
inferior lamella ascending with a weak spiral, moderately high or low inwards, in front lowered and in part bent on the columellar edge, slightly or not thickened and ending; subcolumellar lamella descending to the lunellar, lower end separated from lunella, in oblique view visible ± far inwards; lunellar dorsal-dorsolateral in position, in part dorsolateral, principal plica ending dorsolaterally or nearly laterally; upper palatal plica mostly continuous with lunella by a curve, lunella straight or hardly arcuate, posterior lower palatal plica present or indistinct, connected with lunella by an angle; clausilium plate in oblique view fully visible, rarely nearly fully, in part leaving a gap at the palatal side, distally somewhat pointed and bent outward.”
