Descrição original:

(Moricand, 1834); “Ce bulime, qui paraît être d’une grande rareté, car je n’en connais qu’un seul individu, est remarquable par le grand alongement de sa spire ; elle est formée de quinze tours légèrement convexes, mince, d’une couleur uniforme gris-olivâtre, un peu plus prononcée sur les derniers tours ; les 4 ou 5 premiers sont lisses , les autres sont finement striés, le sommet obtus. L’ouverture ovale sans échancrure, la collumelle solide, droite, sans ombilic; la lèvre extérieure simple et tranchante.”
