Descrição original:

“Shell minute (width c. 1.3 mm), depressed conical-globular, c. 4 ½ whorls, with a raised spire, deep suture positioned below the periphery and rounded body whorl profile. Shell translucent, whiteish. Protoconch 1 ¾ whorls, without sculpture. Transition between proto- and teleoconch marked by the first weak axial ribs. Sculpture on the teleoconch consists of strong axial ribs (around 54 ribs per whorl), with smaller often incomplete ribs in the interspaces. Umbilicus medium wide, 29% of shell width. Aperture subcircular. Peristome simple”
