Comentários: o autor, na descrição original, destaca que “At first I had mistaken the shell here figured for the Bui. candidus of Ziegler, but upon comparison I find it to be distinct from that, and that it agrees well with some colourless specimens of Bulimulus guadaloupensis, a species which is extremely variable in its colouring and which is found in many of the West India islands as well as on several parts of the South American Main.”
