Alimentação: Herbívoro

Ocorrência: Pan-tropical (EUA, México, América Central, Colômbia, Venezuela, Equador, Argentina, Chile), Brasil (Pará até Rio Grande do Sul)

Localidade tipo: Nova Caledônia

Comentários: é considerada uma espécie criptogênica, ou seja, a origem geográfica nativa é desconhecida, não há certeza se ela é nativa ou introduzida em uma determinada região
